TIFOSÆ

a literary magazine about sport

TIFOSO: from the italian tifo, typhus; describes the feverish delirium of the afflicted. It has since become a metaphor to describe the fervor afflicting sports fans.

TIFOSÆ publishes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry about sport: We want the drama, the boredom, the ecstasy, the grief, the nail-chewing, the throats rubbed raw from a day spent screaming, the adulation, the hatred, and everything in between. If the piece could run in a traditional sport publication, it's not for us. If all sport details were removed and the piece would survive, it's also probably not for us. See below for some examples. Trust your judgment but please don't make us regret it!
